Painting Poppies lessons by Fort Bliss Resiliency Through Art Program and Fort Bliss Soldier Art Workshops featuring El Paso Artist: Krystyna Robbins.

Part 1: Introduction to Plein Air Painting with Oils & Acrylics on March 17 5-7pm Art & Hobby Shop (820 Marshall Rd.) Patrons will learn plein air techniques which helps for onsite painting in rapidly changing light and shadow. They will quickly identify composition and scene values in a proper perspective which is very important.

Part 2: Paint your Poppies Masterpiece! March 19 10am-4pm El Paso Museum of Archaeology (4301 Transmountain Rd.) Patrons will get the chance to paint their masterpiece using the techniques learned from part one class. Cameras/Smartphones are welcome and encouraged to capture interesting scence.s

This is a two-part class, your must attend both lessons.

Registration is required and can be done at the Art & Hobby Shop. Open to DoD ID cardholders only.
