Cardboard Regatta

The Cardboard Regatta is back and better than ever!  Collect all your cardboard and start formulating a plan because a seaworthy vessel is not created overnight. 

This event is open to DOD ID cardholders and their kids ages 5 and up.  The racing categories are: Parent and child (5-10), Youth (10-17), and Adult (18+).  We encourage all participation to include units and Fort Bliss organizations.  We also LOVE spectators!  It's a fun and funny event to watch so even if you're not sailing you can enjoy the event.

Online registration is required to participate but it's FREE!  This event is limited to the first 30 boats so register today to guarantee your spot.  

Approved materials include:

Cardboard (corrugated only, no carpets rolls or compressed cardboard allowed)

Duct Tape (only allowed on the seams, DO NOT completely cover any part of the boat with tape)

Decorations (no paint that will cause a waterproof barrier)

Any use of unapproved materials will result in disqualification.  (PLEASE don't make us disqualify you, this is our worst nightmare!!!)
