Deadlifts & Deadpool

Competitors in designated weight classes will perform the hex bar deadlift and must lift the minimum weight designated for their weight class, for the most repetitions in one minute. Divisions include Super-Light Weight, Light Weight, Middle Weight and Heavy Weight for both men and women.
All competitors will have a minute to regroup for the dead pool swim event. The swim portion consists of a 400 meter consecutive swim. Competitors may swim any of the 4 competitive strokes (freestyle, breaststroke, backstroke or butterfly).Competitors will be disqualified if they stop at the edge of the pool for an extended time, if they walk along the bottom of the pool or if they fail to complete the entire swim.
T-Shirts will be provided for each participant. Winners in each weight class will be based on a combination of the most deadlift repetitions combined with the fastest swim time.
