The Funny behind the Force

Enjoy a night of fun and laughter! Open to ages 18 and older only. Doors open at 6 p.m. at Freedom Crossing, across from Class Six. This event is open to the public, be sure to get your Community Access Pass if you are a non-DoD ID card holder.

Headliner: Ryan Niemiller

You may know Ryan Niemiller as the disarmingly handsome comedian and third place finalist from America's Got Talent Season 14. Despite being born with a disability in both arms, Ryan, the self-proclaimed “Cripple Threat of Comedy”, shares his views of the world from the perspective of the handicapped (and very handsome).

Ryan began his comedy career in Los Angeles, California, and hasn’t looked back since. He's a favorite performer in clubs and colleges across the country. His comedy covers topics such as dating, trying to find employment and attempting to find acceptance in a world not designed for him.

With his quick wit, good looks, great timing, and a gimmick that only he can exploit, Ryan hopes to prove to the comedy world that he may be unarmed, but he is dangerous. And handsome - in case you missed it the first three times.

Opener: Dave Yates

Dave Yates is a Los Angeles based writer, comedian and actor whose humor can be described as "a mix of wit and whimsy" as he details his adventures through life. Dave performs Stand Up Comedy nationally while also selling his wildly successful HaHa Hot Sauce. He is a current staff writer for Dumpster Fire with Bridget Phetasy and former co=host of the recover centered, 12 Questions Podcast.

His TV appearances include Amazon's Laugh After Dark, Rain Wilson's SoulPancake Network and Kendra On Top on WeTV. He had appeared nationally in comedy festivals including SLO Comedy Fest and the prestigious Gilda's LaughFest. In addition, Dave's highly regarded album "One Long Merch Pitch" is on regular rotation on Sirius XM!
